The final list for the Mallorca Classic Training Camp...

Myself & Malc
Nicola & Stuart
Dave & Leah
Terry & Jan (non rider)
Ben & Yvonne
Ryan
Richard
Will
Matthew
Luke
Emma
Dave S
Warren
Simon & Rachael (non rider)
Mark

19 riders.

All rooms are now allocated, transfers and bikes booked. Obviously I can get any hiccups sorted when I arrive on the 7th...

Each day's ride will consist of 'training segments' but I must emphasis these are 'optional'. The popular 'cut & chase' will be on the cards along with 2 man/woman 'Team Time Trial', coastal '1km x pace & change' and Mountain 'Back to Front Sprints' all to encourage the motivation. Importantly easy A & B group rides will be integrated throughout your camp.

*Prizes will be presented for the various segments and rider improvements, men & women*

2 highlights will be the following rides (weather dependant)...

1) Arenal - Port D' Alcudia - Can Pickafort - Arenal (A group)
Arenal - Petra (meet for both groups) - Arenal (B group)
2) Puig Major climb for the A group, 15km in length average gradient 6%

Looking forward to seeing you all in a few weeks...

  1. Nicola and Stuart, Having just returned exhausted but also exhilarated by the cycling, training and the advice given we both are already planing or next trip with POCO LOCO.
We both relished the fantastic company given by fellow riders whilst enjoying the wonderful countryside as well as evenings gathered together discussing the days ride out, over a beverage or two ;-D.
well done Nick and Malcolm and thank you again. Brilliant

  2. Thanks to Nick and Malc for organising my 9 day training camp in Majorca- some incredible rides and fantastic mountain scenery! 508 miles and some 31 hours of tough training. Hopefully this will pay dividends in future LVRC Road Races.
Excellent weather and company- a special mention to members of Fibrax Wrexham for making me and Jan feel very welcome.

  3. Ben & Yvonne. Get yourselves out here is all I can say. 10 glorious cycling days rinding on great roads and experiencing Nicks training segments which really bring an exciting element to the day's route. A fabulous hotel which doesn't mind you cycling through the loby to the lift and great apres-cycling chat in bars along the sea front. Get yourselves out here and experience PocoLoco for yourself.
