Hi Nick,
   I would just like to say a huge thanks to you and your fantastic support crew for a great days riding on Saturday. Mark and I were really disappointed we had to go home on Saturday night after what was a fantastic meal at the hotel, i think the candle lit theme only added to the event!
Please pass on our thanks to all involved for a great ride,looking forward to next year?

Great weekend Nick really awesome - The hotel was fine so no apologies needed for it.  And massive thanks to Tim, Chloe, Rob and Jess.  I hope they enjoyed it also, they are lovely people. 

ousshh nearly a 1000watts hit on the 2nd day Mr Spenna! As above, really enjoyed this weekend, great people to be with, good cycling, good food and Cobdens Ale went down well also. Big Thanks to Nick Giles and massive thanks to the suport from Tim, Chloe, Rob and Jess. Wish i could make the cornwall trip!

very character building, what was supposed not to be training for me turned into very much so because of the wind
We all did great on our riding these past 2 days, and no complaints.
We should all be proud of being part of FWRC, and we did the club proud.
so pleased I came, thanks Nick Giles and of course the brill support crew. And thanks club members :-)

FWRC New Year Blowout - Thanks

I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to all of you who supported the fwrc New Year Blowout.

The group of riders were just fantastic and you all deserve a medal for the epic Saturday in Hell! It was more of a survival test than a training ride, but, what can I say, you all made it and still had a smile at the end...unbelievable,it makes me proud to be part of the fwrc...really!

Another BIG THANK YOU to Tim,Chloe, Rob & Jess for their fantastic support, they looked after everyone and drove superbly. Also Rob, for his post ride treatments and massage, I'm sure it gave everyone that added boost for the tough 'parcours' we endured today.

I thought you all rode brilliantly, especially in such harsh conditions on Saturday and I wish I could have waved a magic wand to rid us of that devastating wind and driving rain, it was torture!

FWRC New Year Blowout - Routes

Hope your 2012 is going well...

The route for the FWRC New Year Blowout 21/22 January can now be found on cycle-route.com by following the link http://www.cycle-route.com/routes/Fwrc_New_Year_Blowout-Cycle-Route-6468.html
Changes will be made if required, but the route chosen has a little of everything which should make for an interesting ride...difficulty...7/10? There will be training segments, but they are optional!
Leaving Warrington at 9:15, pick up points will be Chester (Bike Factory) at approx 10:30 and Penyffordd (Barry Williams Home), at around 11.10.
If you are interested in the weekend ride, please register by Friday 13th or Monday16th at the latest through http://pocolococycling.com/camps.php?p=3 It means I can let the Hotel know how many riders are coming for room allocation.
